One of My Most Important Teachers of Last School Year

It’s the beginning of April, the start of the new school year here in Japan. As I’m planning my goals for myself and for my students, I’d like to introduce one of my most important teachers of last year – one of my students. My friend Bob recommended I tell the story on video, so you’ll find the video in two parts below. Making the video, and reflecting on what I learned from my student led to two new EFT tapping videos, which follow.

Next are the tapping videos inspired by this the experiences with this student. The first one is for those times when there is someone who is really bothering you.

This next one is for teachers, when you’re having trouble seeing a student as the representation of Divine light and love that s/he truly is.

It’s that time of year again. We all start going nuts trying to plan how we want to overhaul our lives – and the more of a high achiever you are, the more likely you are to fall into this potential trap.

Easy Healthy Weight-loss: Do No Harm

Are you making this deadly weight-loss mistake? Many people get so desperate to lose weight that they will risk almost anything, sometimes even their lives. Find out how to keep your emotions in check so you’re no longer vulnerable to taking crazy, or even potentially fatal chances, so you can easily, rapidly and healthfully reach your weight-loss goals.

Why is it that otherwise levelheaded, reasonable people are willing to risk their money, time, health, and possibly even their lives when it comes to losing weight? If you destroy your health, or worse yet, lose your life to some new fad product or diet – will you really care how much body fat you have?

What makes us spend our hard-earned money on the latest weight-loss ‘wonder drug’ or gadget? Are we being possessed? In a way, you could say in those moments we are. We are literally overcome with our emotions – specifically, the emotion of the pain of being overweight. At that moment, our suffering feels so great that we are willing to do virtually anything that will relieve that pain, even if it’s only temporary.

Unfortunately, advertisers know this and take advantage of it by triggering such feelings and then offering their product or service as the solution. If you don’t have an energy clearing practice such as meridian tapping or EFT, the Emotional Freedom Technique, then you are vulnerable to being triggered by this kind of advertising, and making choices that waste your money, are ineffective, and possibly even harmful.

What is it you do to shift your emotional state when your emotions get triggered around weight-loss? Some people reach for a favorite fattening dessert, which of course is only a temporary fix and contributes to the problem in the long run. Others take action on whatever product is being offered them along with the emotional advertising that is triggering the emotional reaction, and this too is only a temporary fix – because once you use the product or diet and don’t get the promised results, you’re back to feeling desperate again and vulnerable to the next advertiser who comes along.

However, it doesn’t have to be this way. You have the power to clear your emotions yourself – right at your fingertips – for FREE! EFT only takes a few minutes to do, and it’s very easy. The hardest part is to remember to do it when you feel triggered!

When your emotions are clear, you are coming from a place of power to take action in ways that support your health rather than in ways that are damaging to your health.

Easy Healthy Weight-loss: 7 Unexpected Tips to Help You Lose Weight Rapidly, Easily, and Healthfully

Do you know the one thing you must do to lose weight easily, healthfully, rapidly, and how to keep it off? Without this one secret, your weight-loss is destined to fail. Here are 7 unexpected tips to get you started the right way.

Tip 1: Love and Respect Your Body Now.

You must be loving and respectful of your body if you want to recreate its image. Many people, even some of the nicest people in the world when dealing with others, are cruel and ruthless when dealing with their own bodies. You can’t bully your body into submission. You cannot shame your body into becoming thin. It absolutely will not work, and your body will take it out on you at the first opportunity, often rebounding with even more fat than you started with.

Tip 2: Do No Harm to Your Body.

This goes hand in hand with Tip 1. If you want genuine, lasting weight-loss, nothing is more important than your health. It seems like a no-brainer, and yet when people are in the ‘got to lose weight now!’ part of the cycle of pain with their weight, they often are so desperate that they are willing to do anything to get results in their weight-loss, even doing something they know will be ultimately harmful. Don’t let this be you.

Tip 3: Nourish Your Body.

You cannot starve yourself and have healthful, lasting weight-loss. It goes against what it is hard-wired to do based on eons of humans barely able to subsist on the food that was available to them. Body fat will come back with a vengeance as your body tries to protect itself from the next ‘famine’ it thinks it’s just survived through. Lovingly feed your body an appropriate amount of wholesome, nutrient dense food.

Tip 4: Be Patient With Your Body.

It’s been patient with you for all these years. You owe it to your body to be patient and gentle with it. Your body fat didn’t appear all at once, and unless you are a master of manifesting things in the physical world instantaneously it’s crazy to expect that the excess weight will drop off immediately either. You can’t starve it off in a week with some fad diet; you can’t exercise it off in a week with some masochistic exercise routine. Stay encouraged. Stay focused. Understand that some fluctuations are normal, and have faith that you will succeed in reaching your weight-loss goal, especially if you follow these tips.

Tip 5: Notice the Difference Between Physical Hunger and Emotional Hunger.

Whenever you reach for food, check in with yourself to see if you are truly hungry. Sometimes we eat because the clock tells us to. Sometimes we eat out of habit. Sometimes we eat because it makes us feel emotions we want to feel. And sometimes we eat because we are actually physically hungry. Noticing why you are eating is the first step to making changes that support your radiant good health. If you are eating for any reason besides physical hunger, then you can use techniques such as EFT, emotional freedom technique (a kind of meridian tapping therapy) to collapse those emotional drivers.

Tip 6: Drink Plenty of Water.

When people don’t drink enough water, they often mistake the body’s thirst signal as a signal for hunger, and mistakenly use food to try to quench it. When that doesn’t work, some people will reach for even more food. Also, water plays an important role in eliminating toxins and eliminating stored fat, so following your doctor’s recommended daily intake of water is a great way to support your weight-loss.

Tip 7: Release Negative Emotions and Collapse Food Cravings with EFT.

Relief from unwanted emotions and unwanted food cravings is literally at your fingertips with the use of EFT, the emotional freedom technique, a kind of meridian tapping therapy. Using EFT shifts your energy out of the patterns and experiences that have kept you fat, and clears the way for you to return to your natural state of being thin, healthy, and gorgeous. Shifting your energy is the one thing you must do if you want to have rapid, easy, healthy weight-loss that is successful long term.

Swine Flu – Does it Worry You?

As we move into the fall, more and more people are worrying about the swine flu. The problem with worrying of course is that when you put energy on something you are more likely to attract it to you. Simply trying not to think about it doesn’t work so well either, because if you don’t clear it from your energy you’re still attracting it energetically.

The media is directing and fanning our fears on this as well. The other day on CNN-J there was a statistic that 90,000 people in the US are expected to get the swine flu this next flu season.

Fortunately there is a very  easy solution, and that is to address your fears and concerns with EFT, the emotional freedom technique, which is a kind of meridian tapping healing modality.
